Vlaams Radio Koor (Flemish Radio Choir) was founded in 1937 by the Belgian National Radio Institute (NIR/INR). The history of the radio choir is inextricably linked with that of its sister ensemble at the same broadcaster: the Great Symphony Orchestra (now Brussels Philharmonic).

Flemish choral music is alive and kicking!
Together with ComAV, the Radiokoor issued a call  for new choral music by Flemish composers, the result of which was ‘Les Flandriens’. Photos taken on their album release concert.
